POSITION: Associate Attorney (hybrid)

Cooper & Scully, P.C. is a Prestigious Law Firm with offices in San Francisco, Dallas, Austin and Houston. The Firm is actively recruiting for an experienced (2-6 year) attorney with an interest in litigation defense, including a broad range of topics from healthcare law and litigation to governmental liability. The position will support two senior shareholders and will provide an opportunity to work cases from inception to trial.

This position is hybrid requiring about three days in-person in the office in downtown San Francisco. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified candidates should have 2-6 years of relevant experience, and possess the key knowledge, skills and ability to demonstrate excellent communication in writing, speaking, research and negotiations. The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively, independently, and directly with clients and understand the essential requirements of handling litigation work. Relevant knowledge includes health care law, litigation, governmental liability work, providing advice to clients and demonstrating interest in professional and business development.

•  JD from an accredited university
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Licensed to practice law in California and have no Bar violations
• Ethical, accountable, professional, and reliable

COMPENSATION:

Salary range is $120,000 to $155,000 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, term life coinciding with medical insurance, group life/AD&D/LTD, 401(k), Health Savings Account, ID Shield, Accident Insurance, Critical Care Insurance.
